Team lead over the SharePoint team at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. Supervises a team that provides SharePoint administration and solution development support across CECOM. The team directly supports all staff elements SharePoint requirements and provides administrative support to CECOM Major Subordinate Command (MSC) elements. In addition, these services will support the migration of SharePoint 2016 libraries, lists and solutions to SharePoint Online in A365. This service includes modernizing solutions currently in SharePoint 2016 to Power Apps and Power based applications.
SharePoint Services include, but not limited to:
Facilitate and support migration from SharePoint (SP) 2016 to SharePoint Online (SPO) in A365.
Site Management.
Modernize existing custom solutions for use in SPO A365 environment using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents) and/or SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
Site Collection Administration.
Site Management.
Configure standard and customized SharePoint team sites, libraries, lists, calendars, etc.
Create custom “out of the box” SharePoint solutions in response to user requirements.
Respond to user requests coming into our Issues Tracker for problem resolution, changes to new or existing sites, lists, libraries and solutions
Manage permissions and groups.
Work with the CECOM user community to gather and document requirements for “out of the box” SharePoint solutions.
Manage requirements through the entire Software Development Lifecycle from initial requirements gathering and documentation, through design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and retirement.
Write test cases that are actionable and measurable
Meet regularly with AEP Team (SharePoint Host Administrators) to discuss issues and resolve problems.
Provide user instruction and training as needed.
Work both independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications:
Five (5) or more years of related SharePoint 2016 or newer experience managing SP sites, creating standard SP sites, lists and libraries and managing permissions.
Two (2) years experience in SharePoint online (MS Office 365) and MS Office 365 Power Apps
