QTS Data Centers is seeking a Revit Engineer to work at one of our mega data center locations: Suwanee, GA Richmond, VA Or Irving, TX. We are seeking a skilled Revit Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The Revit Engineer will play a critical role in designing and developing detailed models and technical drawings using revit software. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the creation and modification of engineering designs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.

Develop/maintain detailed 3D Revit models for the design, layout, and modification of data center facilities.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate Revit designs.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including floor plans, elevation drawings, equipment layouts, and construction details, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Assist in the coordination of design changes and updates, working closely with the development team to ensure timely and accurate implementation.

Perform clash detection analysis and resolve conflicts between various building systems and components using Revit's Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of Revit standards, templates, and libraries to enhance productivity and consistency across projects.

Conduct periodic site visits to assess progress, verify as-built conditions, and provide on-site support during the construction phase.

Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure the successful implementation of Revit designs within specified timelines and budget constraints.

Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and emerging technologies related to Revit and data center design.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field or equivalent professional experience

Experience working with Revit, preferably in the design and construction of data centers or mission-critical facilities.

Strong proficiency in Revit, and other related software tools, with a deep understanding of BIM principles and practices.

Comprehensive knowledge of data center infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, fire protection, security, and structured cabling.

Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings, as well as construction specifications and industry standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Relevant certifications in Revit or BIM technologies

Prior data center industry experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality Revit drawings within specified deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex design challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present design ideas, and provide technical support during construction phases.
