SENIOR STRUCTURAL PROJECT MANAGER
Location: Boston, MA
Compensation: 100-150K (DOE) with Full Benefits and Performance Bonus Potential

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS Provide technical expertise and project management associated with building structure design projects
Develop structural engineering design solutions for buildings and structures integrating project objectives and design criteria
Interact and communicate effectively with design team members
Deliver complete and accurate structural designs and prepare structural drawings and details on-time and within design budget
Assist with task, project, contract proposals and business development
Prepare engineering calculations and prepare technical reports
Perform field-related work including structure conditional inspections, site visits, and field inventories
Ensure projects adhere to company quality control program and safety standards
Check work of others as assigned
Review construction shop drawings and submittals
Certify engineering design documents as required
REQUIREMENTS Professional Registration: Professional Engineer (MA) is required & Structural Engineer (MA) is preferred, not necessary
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) with Structural Engineering emphasis (M.S. Engineering preferred)
8-10 years related work experience
Prior experience leading projects for MBTA or DCAMM in Boston, MA
Understanding and ability to prepare design of structural steel, concrete, wood/timber, and masonry components and framing systems
Strong client relationship experience and the ability to manage complex project
Proven ability to build and manage successful project teams
Working knowledge of IBC, AISC, and ACI Building Codes
Must be knowledgeable of industry practices and regulations, as well as current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project
Strong oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge and proficiency with computer aided structural analysis / design software such as RISA 3D, Tekla, Fastrak, TEDDS, IES Quick Suite, IES Visual Analysis
Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
