Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, as well as proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau. The candidate should also have advanced programming skills in Python and SQL. The Data Scientist will play a key role in analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis:

Analyze large datasets using advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to extract meaningful insights and identify trends.

Predictive Modeling

Develop predictive models to forecast business metrics, such as sales, customer churn, or product demand, using machine learning techniques.

Data Processing

Utilize Big Data technologies, including Hadoop and related tools, to process and manage large volumes of structured and unstructured data efficiently.

Data Visualization

Create interactive and insightful visualizations using Tableau or similar tools to communicate complex data analysis results to stakeholders.

Programming

Write efficient and scalable code in Python to perform data analysis, model training, and deployment tasks. Leverage SQL for data querying and manipulation.

Statistical Analysis

Apply statistical methods and hypothesis testing techniques to validate findings and ensure the robustness of analytical models.

Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and software developers, to integrate data science solutions into business processes and applications.

Continuous Learning

Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data science, Big Data technologies, and machine learning algorithms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Scientist with expertise in Big Data technologies, Hadoop, Tableau, Python, and SQL.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.

Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn).

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
