Summary:
The Web Coordinator for the department of nursing is responsible for the oversight of the nursing intranet page and all relevant linked pages. In addition, the Web Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining the Magnet document webpage. This position is ever evolving and the Web Coordinator needs to ensure that he/she remains abreast of latest changes and updates. This position requires the ability to work as an integral member of nursing and interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Magnet Document website
Manage day-to-day information submission and updating activities on nursing intranet site including Sharepoint sites, web tutorials, demonstrations, image galleries and surveys using appropriate tools including but not limited to redcap and survey monkey
Regularly review content on nursing intranet pages to ensure information and linked information is contemporary, relevant, suitable for publication, accessible and that all links work
Ensure Penn Medicine and Internet Standards are maintained
Track usage, generates reports and makes suggestions for intranet improvement
Strong commitment to supporting nursing practice, interdisciplinary collaboration and patient care
Nursing committee membership as needed
Manage large distribution lists to ensure list accuracy
Education or Equivalent Experience:
H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
Education Specialization:relatedEquivalent Experience:•And 2+ years Relevant experience, preferably in Custom website development
Associate of Arts or Science (Required)
