Location Description
For its first ever property in the Pacific Northwest, InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts debuts a luxurious property with more than 200 guest rooms, Grand and Junior Ballrooms, lobby bar, a gym, and a dedicated concierge team.
Overview
The "Avenue Bellevue" development is a newly constructed mixed-use hotel, retail & residence project "The Avenue" consisting of 365 luxury serviced condominium units in 2 towers opening Summer 2024, surrounded and in synergy with the 208 rooms and suite first class "InterContinental Hotel Bellevue", convention center, several restaurants, 1,000-unit parking garage and extensive 100.000sf luxury retail space.

Which is why the InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue is searching for a new Restaurant Server confident in delivering unforgettable experiences through a warm welcome, inspired recommendations and seamless service from starter to dessert and beyond.
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Creating a warm and welcome to everyone and setting the tone for each guest's experience.
Working with your restaurant colleagues to offer a seamless food service.
Anticipating needs of both external and internal guests.
Delivering food along with natural, vivid description of food in a seamless manner.
Striving to make every meal truly memorable for our guests by serving up high standards with our signature flair.
Accurately closing guest checks, processing cash and credit card payments, appropriately settling complimentary items etc.
Helping with washing up and other kitchen duties when the team needs you.
Minimizing waste and keeping your supervisor or duty manager in the loop about any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents.
Taking on ad-hoc duties to keep the service running smoothly.

Qualifications
What we need from you: Prior serving experience required. Experience serving in a similar 5* environment preferred.
Must possess Valid Food Worker card and MAST permits.
Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner.
Possess the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Great communication - you'll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to.
Exceptional people skills.
Compensation
The compensation for this position is $16.28/hour.
