Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Developer (Deer Park, TX) wanted by The Lubrizol Corporation, a produce and market specialty advanced chemicals for consumer and industrial application company.
Responsibilities:
Developing technical solutions for our environmental and manufacturing operations internal customers, including requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, and support (applying knowledge of Web development using NET C#, ASP.NET, MVC, LINQ, VB.NET and SQL Server Database.
Providing expert advice and counsel to business users and IT project teams regarding technology and requirements fit for use case scenarios (apply skills of business acumen with technology capability).
Adhering to and recommending development standards, naming conventions and industry best practices (Service-Now) and methodologies, including Agile Methods.
Staying knowledgeable of new technologies (e.g. API Management, Azure, SAAS).
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or related occupation. Experience must include:
3 years of experience with utilization of Service Now or similar ticketing request system;
3 years of experience with Agile Methods;
2 years of experience in any one or combination of technologies: .NET C#, ASP.NET, MVC, LINQ, VB.NET and SQL Server Database; and
JOB LOCATION: Company’s office located at Deer Park, TX. May also work from home office located within commuting distance to Deer Park, TX office location.
