Job Overview: A law firm specializing in premises liability cases seeks a dynamic Premises Liability Associate Attorney to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. Duties:
Coordinate discovery and discovery efforts with paralegal and other legal support staff.
Manage a pre-lit premise team, overseeing case development and strategy.
Guide plaintiff clients through the case process, providing support and legal advice.
Interact with expert witnesses, including arranging conferences, drafting expert reports, and affidavits.
Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on various legal issues relevant to premises liability cases.
Draft litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, motions, and memoranda of law.
Requirements:
Prior experience in premise liability law.
Strong leadership skills to build and manage a legal team effectively.
Ability to interact with clients during their needs, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Determination to achieve the best results for clients and to win cases.
Education and Certifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Florida State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
Any additional certifications or specialized training in premises liability law are advantageous.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
