We are automating a dealer's ability to buy, sell, and trade cars. This is a hybrid position based out of our Addison, TX office.
Role overview
The CarOffer Sales Analytics team is looking for a Principal Analyst, Sales Reporting & Analytics to support the growing sales organization and its daily activities. You will deliver analysis and insight that will contribute to driving revenue growth for our Sales team. You will work closely with the Regional Performance and Sales Executive teams as well as other stakeholders across the business. Ideal candidates will have business analysis experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced and fun environment.
What you'll do
Collaborate with our Sales teams, Sales Operations, and Data Engineering to support our reporting roadmap; Act as the point of contact to the Sales team
Synthesize disparate data sources from our data warehouse to produce Sales reporting and dashboards in Business Intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, Salesforce)
Build custom reports for our sales teams in Hubspot
Identify areas of improvement in our CRM and Sales motion tracking; make recommendations and work with Engineering to scope out
Seek for opportunities to automate reporting and processes
Work with Revenue Tools & Process team on testing new CRM features & data tracking
Facilitate the data sourcing in the most effective manner such as retrieving, crafting queries and ETLs, and formatting
Support the development of presentations that analyze sales and marketing activities and achievements by leveraging Salesforce and other data sources
Think and act strategically while using data and models to support recommendations to leadership and Executive teams
Maintain documentation on policies and procedures as business processes evolve
Advocate and implement policies for data governance to ensure accuracy and completeness of data
Assist in sales training development, data analysis to support sales compensation, and reporting analysis as needed
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in an analytical role (ideal backgrounds include: a similar Business Analyst role, a data-based consulting role, Sales Analyst or other data strategy type positions)
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, R, or Tableau
2+ years' experience using Hubspot or other CRM software
Good understanding of KPIs for a sales organization
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Experience in the automotive industry or a similar sector.
Knowledge of sales methodologies and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
