We are seeking an individual who is passionate about joining a team in the manufacturing of high quality laminates and films used in a variety of applications including on cabinetry in kitchen and bath applications, countertops and paneling in recreational vehicles and in the enhancement of interior retail spaces.
Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for coordination of all activities necessary to provide sales, service and distribution support to our customers. The CSR is the direct interface with customers and responsible to address customer needs and coordinate problem solving in conjunction with Sales and cross-functional partners. The CSR works in partnership with the sales representatives; manages all aspects of the order fulfillment process; and forms working relationships with internal partners within supply chain, logistics, commercial and operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Receive, process, and own customer purchase orders. Including customer sample request, price quoting and customer inquiries.
* Proactively communicate orders statuses
* Analysis of inventory and customer demand
* Partner with Sales in support of customer needs
* Handle invoicing for Laminates & Films shipments and credits and debits - on average invoicing for 650 deliveries a month and approx. 160 credits and debits a month.
* Provide data for customer master data files and customer requirements
* Build relationships with customers and internal partners
* Foster teamwork
* Back-up colleagues when out of office
* Travel on an infrequent basis in support of sales effort.
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* GED or High School Diploma
* Excellent communication skills both oral and written
* Excellent computer skills: including strong proficiency in Excel and Word
* Candidate must have ability to quickly grasp complex processes and systems.
* Strong prioritization, planning and analytical skills.
* Must work well under pressure and with time demands.
* Must be self-motivated, extremely organized, able to multi-task in a dynamic business environment and have the ability to work well with others.
* Must be detail oriented and have the ability to problem solve effectively
* Individual must have the ability to contribute independently and within a team environment.
* Relevant previous customer service, sales, supply chain or manufacturing experience.
Preferred Skills, Ability, Knowledge
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field is desired - (business, supply chain, international business, sales, marketing, etc.).
* Coursework completed in mathematics, information technology, operations management, supply chain management, advanced degree and APICS certification will be considered a plus.
* Customs and export regulations/HTS - International ocean and air shipments and freight rates, INCO Terms, Bulk, TL, LTL and other modes of transport
* SAP Sales and Distribution experience
* Multilingual
* Lean Six Sigma training

* Frequently remains in a stationary position 70% of the time

This is a Remote position. Training will be onsite for 6 to 8 weeks.
Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
Overtime if needed.
