JOB DESCRIPTION
The role of the project manager will be focused on working with the Identity & Access Management team within CyberSecurity at Huntington Bank to deliver Risk and Finding type project work.
The individual will partner with multiple stakeholder groups in IT, Cyber Security and IT Risk Management to ensure Identity Access Management Findings can be remediated successfully according to established timelines.
Responsibilities
Individual will identify project deliverables, manage the project scope and work activities to ensure project deliverables are met on time.
Individual will identify project risks and set timelines to ensure the quality of the work meets expectations
Will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, works with team to maintain / update schedules, works with teams to resolve discrepancies among schedules and availability conflicts with resources
Maintains the appropriate methods to track risk mitigations, issue resolutions and on-going decision
Builds strong relationships with working team, partners and other stakeholders related to the project(s)
Collect and report value metrics to enable leaders to make decisions timely and with facts
Ability to quickly learn and use new complex technical concepts and resolve issues with them in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to discuss complex technical concepts to the technical staff and stakeholders in a simple straightforward manner.
Provides ongoing status updates on project progress, risks, change management and issue resolution.
Leads issue identification, tracking, escalation and resolution documentation. Monitors risk events before becoming issues and potential roadblocks.
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal communications skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels
Experience at working both independently and in a cross functional team-oriented environment is essential
Can demonstrate how to assess and deliver appropriate level of detail and comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization
Has an ability to understand people and technologies with the ability to know what questions to ask to guide someone through solving a problem (without knowing the subject matter)
Is an effective communicator, social, assertive and enthusiastic
Excellent interpersonal communications skills and proven ability to work effectively at multi-levels of the company
Qualifications:
•Requires a Bachelors degree or 10 years of related work experience.
•Previous experience as a project manager in a Technology group
•Experience using Azure-Dev Ops boards to manage the work
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
•Prior experience running projects for CyberSecurity and or Identity Access Management
•Previous exposure to working in Agile environmentsmal guidance, and in accordance with HBI project methodology, provides leadership that promotes and supports the development, implementation and completion of small to medium size projects. These projects are typically characterized as having low to medium visibility and risk, involve one or more business lines and impact one or more software applications. Works with business unit manager(s) and project sponsor to establish the project scope, deliverables, budget and schedule. According to the direction of their manager, supports the IT team's assigned business segment goals by providing project management services. Assembles project team and manages the project on an on-going basis to identify risks, implement changes, monitor and communicate progress. Ensure team members are managed effectively and kept informed of all related issues. Ensures project deliverables meet customer needs.
