Job Description
Mid-level investigative title that should be held by experienced investigators. Conducts fraud, waste and abuse, as well as conflicts of interest investigations.
General tasks and responsibilities will include:
Examine and analyze financial records, data and documents.
Reviews and analyzes agency records, contracts, policies and procedures.
Conduct programmatic reviews and audits.
Interviews complainants, witnesses, and subjects of these investigations
Prepares written memorandum, referrals and reports.
Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college and two years of satisfactory full-time paid experience in an industrial or governmental agency in the field of investigation, auditing, law enforcement, security or inspections in a major operations area of the organization; or,
2. Graduation from a senior high school and seven years of satisfactory full-time paid experience in an industrial or governmental agency in the field of investigation, auditing, law enforcement, security or inspections in a major operational area of the organization, of which two years must have been in a field assignment; or,
3. A satisfactory equivalent.
