Role Overview
CHAOS is seeing a skilled and motivated Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. This is a highly-collaborative role which will allow you to wear multiple hats and work very closely with our product. As a member of our engineering team, you also have the opportunity to expand your skillset across our product line.
Responsibilities
Build great UI/UX to support our customers urgent missions
Work with Product, Design, our Field Engineers, and other software engineers to create beautiful and performant products
Support CHAOS' product build, assembly, and testing
Work with the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware (e.g. computers, switches, Software-Defined Radios, etc.)
Build scripts for automated deployment and test verification
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Experience coding with Typescript, React and Python
Familiarity with Agile lifecycle processes including Scrum and Continuous Integration
Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams
U.S. Person status as this position will require the ability to access U.S.-only data systems
Preferred Requirements
Experience doing fullstack development, ideally with python frameworks like flask or FastAPI
Experience with MaterialUI or other similar design systems
Development experience in Ground or Airborne Sensors (Radars, EO/IR, EW, etc.)
GPU-accelerated signal processing

Salary range: $100k-$150k/year
