Major job functions:
Supports the Agency's mission, vision, philosophy and core values.
Serves as the Medical Director for North Carolina Residential and Community based programs .
Assists in management of clients through participation in multidisciplinary treatment process.
Ensures the coordination between the mental health services being delivered with primary physical care healthcare providers.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
M.D. Degree and must be Board Eligible or a Board-Certified Psychiatrist in North Carolina
The two or more years of training and experience must include face-to-face treatment and interventions as demonstrated by a caseload of clients with primary mental health or substance abuse disorder diagnosis.
Must have 1 or more years of expereince working with Child & Adolescence
Must have Medical license Required.
