As part of our Tax Services Team, Tax Managers in this position will:
Assist clients with year-end adjustments
Prepare tax projections and research tax issues to help clients meet their goals
Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations
Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
Provide innovative tax planning and advisory services
Review complex income tax returns
Identify and mitigate tax risks
Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance
Manage tax provision and tax compliance processes
Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
Maintain tax balances on general ledger
Candidates should have:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related major
5+ years of tax and accounting experience
CPA required
The best candidates for this position will have experience with:
Proficient knowledge of federal and state tax law related to individuals, businesses, estates, trusts
Proficiency with trial balance adjustments, accrual to cash conversions, and tax journal entries
Ability to supervise, delegate, and train tax staff and review their work
Experience working with high net worth individuals and businesses
Ability to deliver exceptional client service
Knowledge of QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
Multi-state experience
General ledger experience
Local tax experience a plus
Supervisory experience
