Overview:

Chatterbox Therapy Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need. This position is open to part-time and full-time options.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities

Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals

Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration

Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

Occupational Therapists may need to lift or move equipment and assist patients with physical activities during treatment sessions.

Experience:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist

Previous experience in a similar role preferred

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, acute care, ICU, and critical care

Familiarity with case management principles and occupational health practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
