We are looking for experienced technical program manager to deliver the next generation SCM systems for the AWS cloud. You will be part of the team that architects, designs, and implements highly scalable distributed systems that provide availability, scalability and latency guarantees.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Key job responsibilities

* Define and deliver critical program across multiple teams

* Establish mechanism across internal and partner teams for the program

* Influence technical decisions

* Assess and mitigate risks, handle escalations, and provide concise and transparent updates to stakeholders at all levels

* Dive deep to understand complex problems and break them down into small pieces with straight forward solutions

* Mentor individuals in the community on advanced technical issues, and help them grow their careers

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- 3+ years of software development experience

- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

- 7+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
