**The Channel Sales Manager is key to the growth and success of the Allstream Channel Strategy.**
An Allstream Channel Sales Manager is experienced at proactively engaging with channel partners to drive new business. They are responsible for managing opportunity flow and developing strategy to drive growth. Developing relationships, communicating and connecting our value to partner strategy, strategize and execute on plans for partner success, driving new opportunity and shepherding opportunities across the finish line.
This position requires a firm grasp of Allstreams product portfolio and competitive positioning, coupled with the business acumen required to win with partners. This includes brand awareness, capabilities and Allstream strategy in the marketplace. Prior indirect channel development is required. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Additionally, the ability to integrate quickly into Allstreams CRM software and manage workload in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment is essential.
**Primary responsibilities for the role:**
* Attain revenue objectives by proactively pursuing and influencing new business sales opportunities through channel partners
* Create collaborative environment with influence, education and inspiration of the partner.
* Successfully conduct sales presentations demonstrating the value of Allstream solutions.
* Responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly sales objectives.
* Responsible for building out a territory business development plan and sales enablement activities.
* Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data that in all ways supports attainment of sales and revenue objectives.
* Build trust, loyalty and solid relationships with partner to ensure continuous growth of pipeline/revenue.
* Creates, tracks and follow through on leads/opportunities with team members.

* Current experience as a successful Channel Manager working with channel partners
* Well-developed relationships with channel partner community
* Demonstrated track record of success in the following areas: channel sales, relationship building, team building and ability to effectively communicate value/ influence
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, prepare presentations and proposals.
* Have a strong grasp of solution and value-based selling in the Enterprise/Strategic market space
* Ability to take initiative and work independently while managing deadlines and balancing priorities utilizing organizational and time-management skills.
