Position Summary
Join Anchor Loans as a Software Engineer (SWE) and be part of our top-tier technology team. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can contribute to all aspects of cloud-based software development, optimizing not only their own code but also helping others to enhance theirs. Our mission is to address business needs with our unique technology solutions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Guide and vet system designs to solve ambiguous problems.
Communicate design and implementation decisions effectively through design documents, diagrams, and code.
Conduct thorough and timely code reviews.
Drive cross-functional efforts that involve teams across Anchor Loans to solve hard problems that span technical, organizational, and societal dimensions.
Mentor and train team members on design techniques, coding standards, debugging complex systems, and engineering best practices.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of full-stack software development experience, with a focus on Python, Python frameworks (Django, Flask, Fast API), JavaScript, and VueJS.
Proficiency in designing, architecting, testing, maintaining, and launching cloud-based (web/mobile) software products.
Expertise with AWS.
Familiarity with source code repositories like Git or Bitbucket.
Experience with CI/CD and automation.
Experience working in a fast-paced agile/scrum environment.
Preferred, but not required Experience with other software languages is a plus.
Familiarity with other cloud service providers (Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position which requires in office reporting to Anchor's Thousand Oaks office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Remote work is optional Monday and Friday.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $80,000 -$100,000/annual, plus discretionary annual performance bonus.
