Consult on best practices on payroll policies.
Be a subject matter expert (SME) in payroll processing, calculations, or other compensation-related transactions.
Act as Oracle Cloud Payroll subject matter expert (SME) to understand the business requirements and interpret them to appropriate configurations of the Oracle Cloud Payroll module.
Provide best-practice guidance on payroll business processes and implementation.
Support the definition and validation of various payroll-related conversion activities.
Publish weekly status reports to the project management team.
Coordinate efforts between other team members to implement the best solution for the client.
Create and update test scripts needed for functional testing.
Maintain system-related processes and documentation.
Assist with continuous process improvement and provide insights into best practices.
Assist in key system processes (i.e. payroll cycle management, monthly payroll accruals, garnishment, lien processing, etc.).
Work with the technical team to provide guidance on integrations, conversions, and reports.
Cross-functional training into other modules to expand your Oracle Cloud skills.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or Payroll Certification preferred.
7+ Years in overall payroll experience processing and/or calculating payroll and other compensation transactions (e.g. reimbursements) and analyzing financial data with an enterprise payroll platform (Oracle, UKG, SAP, Workday)
Oracle Cloud HCM User for 3+ years.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and customer service skills.
Capable of working independently, taking initiative with minimal supervision, yet can participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed.
Proven ability to adapt and partner with resources to achieve results in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people.
Proficiency in managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Excellent verbal/written communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
Organized and detail-oriented.
Aptitude towards technology and applications.
