The Exabeam Security Management Platform is a comprehensive cloud-delivered solution that leverages machine learning and automation using a prescriptive, outcomes-based approach to TDIR. Detection management team is the fast growing team at Exabeam and this team is redefining Exabeam next generation detection engines. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take ownership of subsystems in Exabeam's next generation cloud native TDIR (Threat Detection Investigation and Response) applications and participate in all aspects from product definition, system architecture, software development and continued improvements of the system's capacity and usability. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building highly reliable, efficient, scalable, and responsive software, preferably with a bend towards data and analytics. The successful candidate would believe and embody Exabeam’s core values – teamwork, accountability, do what’s right, and no ego. Expected to work across cross-functional teams, partner with architects and technical leads, and mentor junior developers.
This is a hybrid role based out of HQ is Foster City (Bay Area).
Responsibilities:
You will develop mission-critical pieces of our Next gen cloud native applications.
You will create features and maximize performance by building micro services using Java Spring Boot.
You will write unit tests and integration tests for the code ensuring 85% code coverage.
You will gain a deep understanding of how this infrastructure enables our suite of machine learning products.
Ensure quality of technical deliverables (code, designs, documentation, unit test, guidelines, etc.).
Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science or related disciplines
6+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong problem-solving ability with fluency in writing Java code.
Experience building complex systems with high performance, scalability and reliability requirements
Experience with distributed data processing system
Great team attitude and a get stuff done mindset is a must.
Experienced with building large scale cloud-native platforms and applications is a plus.

Bay Area Base Pay Range:
$140,000 - $175,000
Range is reflective of base pay only
Does not include variable pay
Base pay is dependent on experience and may vary based on geography
