Assistant Director ofNursing Services (ADNS) Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Nursing Services inday-to-day administrative functions
Make written or oralreports to necessary personnel
Monitor and maintainthe infection control procedures and policies of the facility
Participate in thedeveloping, planning, conducting, and scheduling of staff development classes,training, and orientation
Review and revise careplans and assessments
Make rounds of thenursing service department to ensure that all nursing service personnel areperforming their work duties
Monitor absenteeism tomaintain an adequate number of nursing care personnel
Maintain a liaisonwith the residents, their families, support departments, etc.
Assistant Director ofNursing Services Requirements Valid NYS RN license
Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices,procedures, and regulations that pertain to long-term care
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
COVID-19 Vaccination
Preferred Previous experience inlong-term care
