Position is responsible for te overali management of the skilled Nursing Facilly witch includes leading, directing, and supporting clinical and non- canical personne in a manner that ensures the delivery of the righest qualty palient care, responsible for plannin
procedures of the facility, and works at least 40 hours per week on administrative duties.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; Master's preferred.
Experience Knowledge Skills.
years of heathare experience working in a clinical settling and five years of management experience.
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Texas. with 2 years Skilled Nursina Home experience
Knowledge of reimbursement regulstions and nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and quidelines pertaining to long term care administration
Principal Accountabilities
Monitors and directs patient care activities ensuring the highest quality care is delivered, directs clinical and non clinical personnel reviews and approves new hires, establishes controls and standards for performance appraisals identities starting needs o the department and proudes tor accordinaly remains avallable accessible and visible to statt recognizes statis achievements and accomolishments and provides onnoing teedback on pertormanc
Establishes scope of service, goals and develops department strategic plan for, stays up-to-date on new developments in the field and incorporates such in the scope of services; reviews departmental policles, procedures, and systems; complies with all applicable regulatory requirements and standards, conducts appropriate department promotional activities and participates in hospital marketing activities.
Assures that revenue, expenses, contribution margin and FTE's meet or exceed budget: prepares and submits budget and related reports; forecasts and accurately projects expenses; takes corrective action to address negative variances; identifies and woposes catal budget terns approphately.
Promotes individual professional growth and development by ensuring that the requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency are met and that training needs of staff are supported and coordinated through the Education department, supports department-based goals which controute to the success of the organization, serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced start.
