We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sr. Dir. Treasury to join our Finance leadership team. This highly visible role reports to the CFO and is responsible for global cash management, debt financing and equity programs, cash forecasting, investments, foreign exchange, insurance risk and credit management, and bank relationship management. This role will work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer and VP of FP&A on long-term planning and with other senior business leaders on working capital management. Additionally, this role interacts with sales, operations, logistics and key customers and suppliers to influence and drive efficiencies and positive changes to systems and processes. What You Will Do:
Maintain deep relationships with executives at financial institutions and ability to leverage these relationships for capital structure, hedging and cash management transactions.
Manage and coordinate all external financing relationships, including executing new debt agreements and oversee the necessary on-going compliance requirements
Develop and execute the company's treasury strategy, including cash management, funding, and foreign exchange to maximize financial efficiency and flexibility.
Oversee the company's risk management programs, including insurance, hedging and derivatives and ensure compliance with policies.
Enhance and manage customer credit policies and procedures that align with company sales objectives while managing risk effectively. Collaborate closely with the sales team to support sales and collections without compromising financial stability.
Lead and develop a high-performing treasury team, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence to ensure the treasury strategy is implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the treasury function, leveraging best practices to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and support company growth objectives.
Own the weekly cash forecast and continue to improve the process to generate insights and trends that lead to enhanced forecasting accuracy.
Ensure compliance with treasury SOX controls, respond to internal and external audit requests, and provide recommendations to control structure.
To Be Successful You Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline and MBA and/or CTP preferred.
15+ years of related professional experience in a complex multinational environment with 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt/equity financing
Analytical, technical, and strategic thinker with solid business judgement, data-driven and analytical in problem solving while also understanding and considering the big picture
Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team and working cross-functionally
Goal-oriented and possess the ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in an ever-changing environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to the Audit Committee
Managing with a sense of urgency through ambiguities and with a desire to consistently raise the bar
Ownership mentality and demonstrated ability to independently drive projects to completion, with great attention to detail
Strong work ethic and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple competing priorities.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to accurately interpret key financial information to determine outcomes, taking appropriate action where necessary.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global environment, and capable of gaining commitment and coordinated action on projects or initiatives. Builds effective working relationships across the company, at all levels in the organization.
