Overview LifeAt is seeking Senior Full-Stack Software Engineers with 6+ years of experience to join our team as we drill down on our mission of solving focus drift. We’re looking for someone with frontend and backend development skills, who has experience building distributed systems.
About the Role Our Stack: React, Node, TypeScript, NoSQL, Firebase / GCP, Electron, Vercel.
What You’ll Do You’ll work with two other developers (CTO and first founding engineer) to write software used by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. We'll work together to turn ideas and research into production-ready code.
As an engineer with multiple years of experience, you’ll be expected and encouraged to set high-level direction and be involved in decision-making with the founders. You'll help drive our engineering culture and practices as we grow our team. We want someone that is energized by taking ownership and building with open-ended constraints.

Things we’re looking for
6 or more years of professional software development experience
Experience with building UI components in React, specifically using hooks
Proficient with TypeScript
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database management
Scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
Ability to write clean, well-documented code
Located in PDT timezone
Bonus
Experience with Firebase and/or Google Cloud services
ElectronJS development experience
