Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff's (CJCS) in Suffolk, VA. Qualified candidates must be a U.S. Citizen with a SECRET clearance.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and updating electronic publishing capabilities and online tools for product development and staffing. The CJCS is responsible for providing education and doctrine to the Joint Force and support readiness reporting and training.
The Senior Software Engineer will:
Maintain and update the electronic publication and distribution capabilities of the Joint Electronic Library, JEL+, and JEL+ SIPR.
Maintain and update electronic tools for the development, collaboration, and coordination of Joint publications.
Management of the Joint doctrine program on the Joint Publication Management Tool (JPMT); Universal Joint Tasks on the UJTL Task Development Tool (UTDT) and the JPME Outcomes Based Military Education (OBME) Management Information System (MIS).
Ensure all online publishing capabilities and tools are delivered with the full authority to operate on approved networks and service providers.
Design database tables and schema designs to support, document, optimize, and improve application development responsiveness.
Required Experience
US Citizen with an active DOD SECRET clearance
Bachelor's Degree OR CNSSI 4012/4013/4014/4015/4016
5 to 9 years' experience in cybersecurity or related field
Information Assurance Baseline Certifications
IAT Level 2: GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security
IAM Level 2: CAP, GSLC, CISM, CASP-CE, or CISSP
CD: CEH, GCIA, CSIH, or GCIH
Operating System / Computing Environment Certificate of Training
