RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general direction of the Director of Business Services, this position will be responsible for monthly business income statements, developing business unit allocation methodology and updating routinely, preparing monthly revenue and trend analyses for upper management, and controlling the contract process for both Operations and Purchase of Services. The Financial Analyst will lead the yearly development of functional department budgets, assist with preparing the consolidated annual budget, perform special projects to improve process efficiency and performance, as requested, and provide financial analysis support for financial projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in accounting and financial record functions, including general accounting, cost accounting, and financial report preparation.
OTHER
Ability to analyze and provide solutions to accounting issues that arise; work in a computerized accounting environment; prepare accounting reports; analyze and interpret a wide range of accounting reports/budgets. Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, procedures, terminology, computerized accounting systems, and general office procedures. Excel proficient.
STARTING SALARY
$30.42 to $33.46 an hour
