1st Shift Warehouse Trainer

Under minimal direction from a manager, the Warehouse Trainer is responsible for training associates on the warehouse operations processes for scanning and sorting returned goods with a goal of helping them achieve a high level of accuracy and productivity while also following all safety protocols.
Primary Accountabilities:
Conduct on-the-job training for associates responsible for processing returned goods in the facility
Training should include, but is not limited to: Scanning product codes to input data into company's computerized system for processing
Sorting scanned product into appropriate container locations
Inspecting the condition of product
Preparing product for disposition in accordance with the client's contract terms
Maintaining a clean and well-organized work area
Answer questions and aid associates in meeting their daily production, accuracy, and safety goals
Ensure associates have all tools necessary to complete their job responsibilities
Ensure associates are provided with a safe, hazard free work environment
Escalate issues or concerns to the Production Supervisor or Team Lead
Follow all safety and facility operating procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position
Must be Bi-Lingual preferred (English and Spanish)
Good working knowledge of computers and other equipment used in processing product
Ability to work under time pressure and meet production goals
Ability to assist other operations within the warehouse, as needed and if applicable
Ability to meet set production and quality goals and follow standard operating and safety procedures
Ability to work with hazardous waste
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
Ability to successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously, works efficiently, and meet deadlines in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions
