Shipt, Inc. seeks a full-time Machine Learning Engineer based in San Francisco, CA. This role will drive the development and deployment of key AI initiatives (e.g., personalization, price optimization, promotion optimization, and ad tech platform) and services (e.g., quality, efficiency, security, and affordability). This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative STEM field. Must have 24 months of experience in proffered position or similar position (e.g., Application Developer, Software Developer, Systems Engineer, Software Engineer) working on software development. Work experience must also include at least 1 year of experience with the following: (1) Big Data Technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive); (2) developing and deploying machine learning models in production; (3) Python API development framework (e.g., Fast API, Django, Flask); (4) cloud computing services or platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure); and (5) fundamentals of Computer Science: data structures, algorithms, etc. Salary: $147,368 to $214,410/year. This position is hybrid. A candidate may work from the company’s San Francisco address or from the candidate’s home address, which must be within commuting distance, as authorized by a manager.
