Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software EngineerThis Senior Developer will be focused on developing, implementing, and supporting new and core features in.NET for their cloud-based software. This will include customization to better suit customer needs as well.Responsibilities:Work within an Agile team-based environment for milestone-based delivery.Design software architecture for new applications and enhance existing ones.Research and document client needs, technology or regulations related to system design and enhancement, as well as acquire hardware and software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications.Define product scope, objectives, and requirements.Conduct daily Scrum meetings. Sprint planning sessions with project managers.Review and analyze workflow designs, systems requirements, and business rules to create technical plans for maintenance and development.Develop software requirement specification documentation for new enhancements.Maintain standards for coding, code repository, data scheming, posting, and testing.Perform regular code reviews to maintain code integrity and code organization.Assess available technologies and recommend solutions to development teams.Conduct regular developer meetings to discuss best practices and new technologies.Requirements:5+ years of experience with .NET Framework (can also do only 2+ years along with a Master's degree in relevant field)Proficiency in database design concepts and SQL queriesExperience working in an Agile environmentNice to haves:Experience with any frontend technologies and/or frameworksPrevious experience leading a team of developers on projects/initiatives
