THE POSITION

We are looking for a visionary UX Research Manager to lead our core product and experience vertical, which focuses on Account, Wallet, and Responsible Gaming teams. This critical role will drive the enhancement of our user experience, ensuring our products are intuitive, accessible, and lead the market in user engagement.

THE GAME PLAN

Everyone on our team has a part to play

Manages a dedicated team of UX Researchers, overseeing both strategic and tactical operations within the core product and experience vertical.

Directs team projects with medium to high complexity and ambiguity, ensuring clear goals and efficient project progression.

Educates both team members and stakeholders on UX & Design best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsible for the organization and output quality of a specific product vertical or team subset, collaborating closely with Leads or Principals.

Initiates and advances projects autonomously, requiring minimal guidance to move forward effectively.

Operates under broad objectives, formulating strategies to achieve deadlines and organizational goals.

Innovates problem-solving techniques by applying established methods and proactively anticipating potential challenges.

Leads and facilitates discussions in both UX&D-specific and broader organizational meetings, enhancing cross-functional communication.

Actively contributes to team meetings, sharing insights and fostering collaborative discussions.

Engages in comprehensive application reviews, case studies, experience reviews, and live exercises to enhance product quality and user experience.

Receives coaching on interpersonal and management skills, aiming for professional growth in leadership capacities.

Acquires and applies skills in providing objective, timely, and constructive feedback.

Mentors team members in technical competencies, enhancing team capabilities and cohesion.

Assists with the integration and training of new team members, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding process.

THE STATS

What we’re looking for in our next teammate

5+ years of experience in UX research, including significant experience leading research projects and teams.

Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Science, or a related field.

Demonstrated expertise in a variety of research methodologies such as usability studies, A/B testing, user interviews, and field studies.

Strong leadership skills and experience in managing and mentoring research teams.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams.

Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills, with the ability to negotiate and align diverse group interests.

Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Experience in the gaming or digital entertainment industries is highly desirable.
