Role Description:

As the Principal Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract valuable insights from large and complex datasets, enabling data-driven decision making across various business functions. Technical Qualifications:

AWS Mastery: Deep expertise in the AWS cloud platform, especially the services relevant to data science such as SageMaker, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, and Lambda.

2Data Architecture: Comprehensive understanding of AWS data lake architecture, database design, and best practices around large-scale data processing.

3Big Data Technologies: Hands-on experience with big data tools available in the AWS ecosystem like Athena, Glue, and DynamoDB.

Machine Learning: Proficiency in using AWS machine learning tools and services, including but not limited to SageMaker, Rekognition, and Comprehend.

Serverless Computing: Experience with AWS serverless architectures and associated technologies such as Lambda and API Gateway.

Integration: Ability to integrate AWS data services with on-premises applications and external software solutions.

Data Security and Compliance: Solid understanding of AWS security best practices, especially concerning data protection and IAM policies.

COMPENSATION:

Salary is commensurate with experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of a normal office environment. No environmental hazards are encountered in performance of normal job duties.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboard at moderate skill level. Work may require occasional pushing, pulling, or carrying 20-pound objects such as files, documents, boxes, etc. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve standing and walking for brief periods. Travel is occasionally required.
