KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director to join our Finance and Accounting organization.

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee the individual income tax compliance, tax counseling, tax projections, tax notices and other financial related support for the partners of the firm

+ Review work papers, tax returns and related work products prepared by staff members for accuracy and conformity with tax law and documentation standards

+ Manage high volume client load with minimum supervision in addition to managing one or more projects throughout the year

Qualifications:

+ Minimum five years of recent progressive experience preparing federal and state individual tax returns for clients, preferably within a professional services environment

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business, finance, or accounting

+ Strong technical skills in the following areas: High Net-Worth Individuals, Partnership and Multi-State Taxation Theory

+ Excellent written and verbal communication and research skills; able to work well in a team environment and/or independently

+ Solid client management skills, ability to gain the confidence of the client and communicate complex tax matters in a manner client can understand

+ Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent required
