Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Continually learn about new programming languages, operating systems, and technologies to keep updated with the industry.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and performance-tune existing systems.
Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2+ years' experience as a Java Developer or similar role.
Solid understanding of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL.
Familiarity with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, ECS, SDK/CDK is a plus.
Experience with applications Splunk, DataDog, Dynatrace, AWS Cloudwatch are an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Open to continuous learning and development opportunities.
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): Knowledge of airline industry e-tickets, PNRs, and EMDs.
Familiarity with United Airlines internal UCD events.
