Product Marketing Manager

How you’ll make an impact:
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be developing and implementing strategies to significantly increase brand awareness and drive sales for both software and consulting services. Conducting market research, you'll stay updated on industry trends, buyers, and competition, helping develop market messaging and creating impactful marketing materials.
You will work collaboratively with consulting and software leaders to translate business priorities into market-facing content, contributing to various marketing activities, including market intelligence, competitive analysis, and lead generation initiatives. You'll also partner with the marketing team, practice leads, and sales teams to ensure success in sales and the development of sales assets and presentations.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Research, evaluate and understand market needs and orient strategies around the behaviors of the market and the needs of our target customers.
Collaborate with practice leads, product management and industry executives to develop a strategic go-to-market plan for our Software and Consulting services in target industry verticals.
Lead efforts in segmenting and targeting key audience groups and understanding the issues and opportunities faced by CFOs and their teams.
Develop market-facing messaging and communicate value propositions through a variety of mechanisms, including sales presentations, marketing assets, articles, blogs, references guide, business development scripts, etc. and periodically deliver presentations to customer and prospect audiences.
Position Strata with prospective and existing customers, business partners, trade associations and key media outlets.
Collaborate with digital demand generation and events marketing team members to create a tactical marketing execution plan that achieves or exceeds defined objectives.
What we’re looking for:
5-7 years as a marketing manager, product marketing and/or industry marketing manager with 2-3 years relevant experience in enterprise business-to-business software and/or consulting services.
Proven leadership and collaboration skills. Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results.
Proven experience in enterprise B2B demand generation and sales processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of collaborating across departments, including different levels within and outside of the organization. Strong negotiation and presentation skills with diverse audiences.
Skilled with PC’s and Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Knowledge and experience with enterprise-level business software marketing and sales.
Experience working in the Enterprise Performance Management software industry preferred.
Experience in targeted Industry Marketing (vertical messaging), preferably in Healthcare or Higher Education a plus.
