Environmental Technician II will be responsible for the separation and packaging of hazardous material for transport and treatment and complete the required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures
+ Separate, sort, and pack hazardous material for transport
+ Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures
+ Keep the work area clean and organized during the course of the shift
+ Follow safety protocols for assigned tasks
+ Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
Pay for this opening is $27.14/hr
Required:
+ Must be l8 years of age or older
+ Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack
+ Have the ability to read, write, and speak in English
+ Ability to wear company-provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel-toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator
+ Ability to move or lift 50lbs with the use of equipment if needed
+ Ability to follow written or verbal procedures consistently
+ Ability to work overtime as needed
+ Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions
Preferred:
+ Has the ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift and possesses safe driving record.
+ Demonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations
+ Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and RCRA Regulations
+ Basic chemistry knowledge
