Come join our Venice Family Clinic and make a difference within the community. As a Child Care Education Administrator (Public Administration) you will be responsible for:
* Meeting all Head Start Performance Standards and State's Child Development Division (CDD) regulations for our Venice Family Clinic's Early Head Start Program's Family Child Care and Center Based option.
* Handling enrollment of children into the program, maintaining/monitoring the wait list, and working with appropriate staff to recruit as necessary.
* Meeting with and monitoring child care providers.
* Managing the program's State CDD child care contract.

Salary Range: $24.28 - $48.04 Hourly Qualifications Required:
* California State Child Development Program Director permit.
* Excellent computer skills, including work experience with databases & creating Excel spreadsheets.
* Good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational skills, and demonstrated skills necessary for reporting, monitoring and compliance.
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
* Administrative experience with child care programs serving infants and toddlers, and administrative experience managing a State Child Care grant in California.
* Experience with Head Start and/or Early Head Start.
* Knowledge of local and state health, safety and licensing regulations for child care facilities.
* Experience working with low-income families, and a strong commitment to the field of child and family development services.
* Bilingual (Spanish-English) language skills.
