Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Instrumentation Project Engineer located in Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities include managing instrumentation projects from conception to completion, coordinating with clients to understand their needs, providing expert advice on instrumentation equipment and solutions, and leading a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering is required.
Must be US Citizen due to ITAR Requirements
Must have experience in project management, preferably with experience in instrumentation systems, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, control systems, and power systems
Proficiency with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, LabVIEW, and MATLAB
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, supervise technicians, and provide mentorship and technical guidance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with different teams and departments within the organization, as well as with external clients and vendors
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as NERC, IEC, and IEEE standards, as well as safety regulations and best practices
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of instrumentation engineering.
