We’re hiring an Executive Director to steer our initiatives throughout the state of Delaware. Join our leadership team and propel us to achieve our ambitious goals in campaign revenue and mission impact. The successful candidate will generate new business and manage a portfolio of donors while managing a board of directors and team of 3 fundraising professionals. The division is responsible for advancing health throughout the state. The position is office-based with meetings throughout the communities it serves.

We have a stimulating, sales-driven work environment with the main responsibility of driving revenue in support of our mission. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities include:

Accomplish results through strong volunteer and staff engagement, recruitment, development, and management.

Build meaningful relationships in the community to drive revenue and health impact.

Secure 6- and 7-figure sponsorships and individual gifts.

Actively partners with leadership volunteers to ensure that participants are knowledgeable, engaged, and committed to the organization and its priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience working with community/public health issues.

5 years successful experience in non-profit fundraising, volunteer management or similar experience.

3 years of managerial experience ideally with a sales team or fundraising team in a similar organization.

Direct knowledge of special event fundraising tactics is crucial.

Public health experience helpful.

Solid understanding of how to engage and work with philanthropic communities.

Ability to travel the Delaware territory approximately 75%; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis.
