Finance Project Consultant Sr./Data Analyst

The Finance Project Consultant Sr./Sr. Financial Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for performing complex financial project tasks and works with Sr. Management on strategy in the center of excellence which manages Elevance Finance's general ledger, enterprise performance management, and business intelligence applications while automating financial processes. We are mid-way through a multiyear project to transform our financial accounting processes by migrating them to a cloud infrastructure. We hope this transformation will improve agility even when operating over larger and larger data sets.

How you will make an impact:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Completes detailed analysis and reporting and ensures activities are performed to accomplish departmental goals.

Serves as an expert to less experienced staff in resolving difficult situations.

Participates in the development of procedures and systems.

Oracle Finance Cloud, Essbase quality, controls, governance & maintenance

Manage controls to ensure process accuracy and performance.

Identify and support process improvement opportunities.

Participate in designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing financial processes using cloud software.

Liaise and interact with diverse departments such as FP&A, FAR, Tax, and IT.

Work with third-party vendor product teams (such as Oracle and partners) to debug and resolve issues.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in finance, accounting or business administration; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

Proven leadership, presentation skills, and ability to interact with SR management preferred.

Ability to conduct complex analysis and present recommendations to senior management strongly preferred.

3-5 years of work experience

Experience analyzing data using SQL or similar scripting language

Provide excellent financial, scenario-based modeling experience.

Understand accounting policies, controls, and financial statements.

Proficient in using enterprise financial applications provided by Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, or Google.

Experience coding.

Communicate exceptionally, either written or orally.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $92,800 to $167,040
