Job Description

A leading company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to apply engineering theory and principles to complex industrial and manufacturing production challenges. In this role, you will lead equipment validation projects, manage third-party vendor relationships, and drive process improvements across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate brings strong IQ/OQ/PQ experience, project management expertise, and the ability to interpret and produce detailed engineering documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will manage and support a variety of projects within the Manufacturing Engineering department. Key responsibilities include:

Essential Job Duties and Job Functions:

Lead IQ, OQ, and PQ validation of equipment with rotational and temperature controls

Serve as project manager between third-party vendors for the design and implementation of complex systems

Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance and production operations to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency

Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas; confer with management and engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards

Review worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify adherence to quality assurance requirements

Assist in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays

Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization

Observe workers operating equipment to verify compliance with quality assurance standards and assess time and fatigue rates

Evaluate data and write reports to validate or identify deviations from existing standards

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong IQ, OQ, and PQ validation skills

Proven project management experience with third-party vendors for design and implementation solutions

Experience designing and validating chemical mixing systems

Strong creativity, verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability

Team-oriented with a high attention to detail

Ability to produce sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common engineering computations

Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports

Experience with engineering software, including Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required

5-7 years of relevant experience required
