As a key member of our organization, you will be a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our IT team. The Azure Cloud Engineer will have a strong background in Azure Infrastructure, with expertise in DevOps practices, Azure Virtual Desktops, Virtual Networks, Disaster Recovery, Scaling, Automation, PowerShell, and PowerApps.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure solutions ensuring secure and efficient.
Enhance and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop environments, providing scalable and reliable virtualized desktop experiences.
Implement and oversee disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
Utilize automation tools to streamline processes and enhance system efficiencies.
Create and maintain scripts, such as PowerShell to automate routine tasks and deployments.
Develop and deploy PowerApps to support business needs and improve workflow automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support DevOps initiatives and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Monitor system performance, identify scaling needs, and implement solutions to handle capacity demands.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on Azure Infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Virtual Networks, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Azure Active Directory.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation tools.
Familiarity with PowerApps development and deployment.
Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS, Salesforce.
Experience with database technology, data warehouse or data lake, Power BI.
This position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with occasional after-hours support for system maintenance and emergencies.

What’s in it for you Package
This role will have a base pay range of $105,000-$125,000 annual salary. Please know, this is the base range only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for this role. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus .
