Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.
Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
Compiles staff assignments for specified nursing departments based on submitted schedules from nursing unit leadership for each shift. Frequently collaborates with the House Supervisor and Nursing Unit Leadership regarding staffing issues and plans. Periodically communicates with nursing unit charge nurses and staff regarding staffing needs and requirements. Maintains confidentiality of all appropriate information received in an ethical manner to perform staffing duties and any related services as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
One (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
One (1) year of demonstrated ability to accurately perform basic math calculations
Preferred:
One (1) year of previous staffing experience
One (1) year of previous experience with staffing software
