Who you are:
As a Senior Solutions Architect , you are our artist, bringing countless creations to life one keystroke at a time. In this role, you will be responsible for the life cycle of system architecture for IT business solutions from planning through delivery and maintenance. Our architects enjoy collaboration, often working with other internal IT business solutions teams to create cross-discipline solutions throughout the organization. More than that, this role is about finding solutions and doing it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.
What you’ll do :
Lead the design of system architecture and strategy for products at Frost to ensure that solutions follow all standards and best practices
Communicate complex design strategies in a concise way to stakeholders and executives
Oversee the design work of solutions architects to ensure quality digital architecture is created and maintained
Be responsible for understanding the end to end process of complex products to ensure exceptional service and the business' ability to thrive
Collaborate with business managers and department leads to allow for a full spectrum strategy to be created
Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What you’ll need:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience in the following areas: Configuration and deployment of mission critical commercial payment software for High availability and redundancy and Integration technologies using REST and SOAP based XML standards, Software development and architecture, Network architecture
5+ years of experience coding with demonstrated experience with two or more development languages such as Java or Python
Experience in vendor analysis, documenting End to End solution architecture, working with Enterprise Architects to align the solution with enterprise strategy
Knowledge of Payment Hub concept for handling different type of payments and formats
Experience in working with enterprise payment systems such as RTP, FedNow, Zelle, ACH, Checks, Bill Pay, Wires and ongoing initiatives for SWIFT ISO 20022 compliance
Experience in designing, deploying, and administering applications in Windows, Unix or Linux, and cloud-based systems such as SaaS, PaaS, and/or IaaS
Experience with cloud, micro services, spring boot kafka, and APIs
Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and administering applications for businesses
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Preferred Skills:
3+ years of experience at a financial institution
3+ years of systems architecture experience
Familiarity with financial regulatory standards including SOX, HIPAA, and SEA Rules 17a-f
Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or Rational Unified Process
Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
Experience with SWIFT network and systems like RMA, SWIFT Alliance access, Alliance gateways and SWIFT Annual Security Attestation process
Experience on wire systems from ACI worldwide such as MTS and UPF.
Familiarity with corporate payment solutions for wires such as FIS wire and Fiserv payment Exchange
Experience with new faster/instant payment schemes like Zelle, TCH/RTP and awareness of upcoming schemes like FedNOW
Experience with Real time Payment Fraud detection/prevention systems
