Warehouse Manager (Contract - 3 months)

Job Purpose -
As a Warehouse Associate, you will manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management. This role requires strong customer service skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Success in this position will ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely delivery of products.
Roles And Responsibilities -
Process and load orders based on production schedules and customer requests.
Receive, unpack, and put away incoming goods, checking for damage and discrepancies.
Sort, label, and store goods to optimise warehouse space.
Prepare, pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods, verifying product and quantity accuracy.
Load trucks for delivery, ensuring goods are secure and free from damage.
Enter data into computerised systems to maintain accurate stock records.
Assist in maintaining inventory levels and conducting inventory counts.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed.
Adhere to warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Must-Have Qualifications -
At least 1 year of relevant experience in a warehouse environment.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new technical systems.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
Basic maths skills for measuring and computing rates and percentages.
Ability to compile reports and write correspondence.
Strong attention to detail and safety-mindedness.
US Citizenship or Green Card holder with work authorization.
