Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Interface with other engineering functions in coordinating the release of new products. Implement engineering change orders to support design engineering and floor with new and existing products. Specific responsibilities include:
Check the Quality Notifications data created by the manufacturing staff daily. Manipulate the data and create reports to create tasks, assign owners or create improvement projects. If there are any discrepancies with the data entered, then communication should be initiated with the responsible personal before the Manufacturing Rapid Response Team meeting.
Investigate high value issues on the manufacturing floor for root cause analysis, collects data, work on the implementation of corrective actions, and verify that the process is effective.
Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to understand and drive the issues to completion.
Present information to all levels including upper management and runs the status meeting for follow-up actions to ensure that issues are resolved
Requirements
Student must be pursuing a Master's degree in or a related major
Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
Compensation
$36 per hour
The rate offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
