Hamilton Lane is hiring Analyst to join our Request for Proposal (RFP)/ Client Solutions Support (CSS) Team in our Suburban Philadelphia - Conshohocken office.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The RFP Analyst will provide primary assistance to our domestic US and international Client Solutions Team through completion of RFPs/questionnaires and other deliverables for new and existing clients and investors. This individual will sit in a key role supporting the sales process, crafting proposals for prospective and current clients and investors to gain new business.In addition, this position supports the firm’s sales and marketing efforts by maintaining informational databases and standard content for prospective clients. Please note that this position does not directly involve sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will work closely with a number of professionals in various departments across the firm to ensure deadlines are met, materials meet compliance requirements and data points are accurate.The individual will be involved in the following:
Coordination and completion of RFPs/RFI questionnaires from prospective and existing clients and investors. Responsibilities will include, among other things, compiling existing and previously approved responses, customizing existing responses for applicability to the nuances of a given mandate and question, coordinating input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the firm.
Includes gathering information, writing, editing, data manipulation/verification, formatting and printing in the compilation of RFP/RFI responses
Completion of ad-hoc sales-support requests and projects
Liaison with internal departments to create content for RFP responses
Maintenance of RFP responses database and overseeing updates
Maintenance and updates to consultant databases and standard materials
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS; Education and/or Experience:
College degree (B.A., B.S., or B.B.A)
1-6+ years’ experience in a related financial services role; RFP or private markets experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, including professional and clear email communication
Strong proficiency in constructing succinct and accurate questionnaire responses
SalesEdge Qvidian experience is a plus, but not required
Must have strong skills in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)
Must be detail oriented and organized and able to handle multiple assignments; strong proficiency in project management
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a high pressure environment
Ability to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
