Job Description Job Description The modern-casual meatball and butchery-inspired concept is the first of its kind to launch in Phoenix. Brought by visionaries and operators of Tomaso's, Hash Kitchen, The Mexicano, and The Sicilian Baker. The Sicilian Butcher is a chef-driven neighborhood restaurant developed by celebrity chef Joey Maggiore.
Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age.
4+ years of Prep Cook experience preferred
Willing to go the extra mile to satisfy every need of our guests.
Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry.
A Day in The Life
At The Sicilian Butcher, you'll collaborate with dedicated individuals to cultivate a vibrant and enjoyable workplace atmosphere. You'll strive to exceed expectations in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your focus will be on ensuring guest satisfaction by skillfully executing recipes and crafting top-notch dishes. Additionally, you'll be responsible for organizing cook stations and ensuring all necessary prep items are readily accessible on the cooking line.
Follow the prep list created by the Kitchen Manager to plan duties
Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, etc.
Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees, etc.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out the trash, etc.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned by upper management
