Job Description:
The Content Marketing Manager role is a great opportunity for an individual with proven experience creating content for B2B marketing and social media campaigns. You’re passionate about building pipeline and executing proven marketing strategies and tactics to engage and educate our prospects in their buyer’s journey. We’re looking for a results-oriented and driven self-starter to own and execute our content creation and organic social campaigns.
Responsibilities :
Develop a deep understanding of our audience to create content that aligns key topics and trends in our industry
Create compelling thought-leadership content including blog posts, eBooks, guides, and customer case studies to support the buyer’s journey for effective inbound and outbound campaigns
Write engaging copy for a variety of marketing channels including email campaigns, social posts, website, ad assets, webinar descriptions, and landing page copy
Test organic social campaigns to optimize performance on social channels
Measure, track, and report on social campaign performance
Write and create marketing and sales email nurture sequences
Identify industry and competitor trends, stay up to date with social media and content marketing best practices
Manage and maintain SalesHood’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook), and grow our social following, while developing two-way communication with our audiences
Ensure strong value-based messaging, brand consistency, and core values across all campaigns
Assist with end-to-end marketing campaign and project management
Perform ad hoc administrative tasks relative to brand management, marketing, communications, and events.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
2-5 years of previous content marketing and social media marketing experience, preferably for a B2B audience (B2B SaaS experience is a plus but not required)
You have written engaging marketing content for a B2B audience
Exceptional content creation and copyediting skills, with the ability to develop well-written, clear, and compelling copy quickly
Self-starter: you spot opportunities to make things better and take ownership
Experience collaborating across multiple internal teams and departments
Strong creative thinking with the ability to identify new campaign ideas
Experience communicating across multiple media platforms (digital, social, traditional)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, project management, organization, and time management skills
Comfortable with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving, and growing, business landscape
Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, JIRA, and Google Workspace are a plus
