About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President - Corporate Communications and Chief Communications Officer to lead a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented team of communications professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall communication strategy, aligned with the organization's purpose and goals. This role involves serving as a strategic counsel to executives for crisis and issues management, overseeing the development and consistent implementation of messaging, and ensuring that policies and practices are effectively communicated across the system. The Vice President - Corporate Communications and Chief Communications Officer at the company will be accountable for strengthening the organization's communications vision, strategy, and roadmap.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a related field, at least 15 years' of relevant experience, and a proven track record in brand, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. Experience in a highly regulated industry, particularly healthcare, is also preferred. They must be a visionary team leader, an exceptional communicator, and a proven leader in developing and implementing successful communications strategies. Personal characteristics and capabilities should include a desire to lead through the organization's mission, vision, and values, as well as being a positive, inspiring, and energetic leader with the highest standards of professionalism. The role requires outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including experience in managing communication during crises, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth. The candidate should also possess strong leadership presence, grit, and tenacity, with the highest personal integrity and ethics, including a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
